The American Bald Eagle on the National Colors of the United States : red, white, and blue The European Golden Eagle on the National Colors of Germany: black, red and gold. This middle section simply shows are name Germania. Notice above that the eagles are back to back to symbolize the mutual trust between the two countries Notice the Globe has links connecting the United States and Germany. These links represent the German immigrants who have come to the United States and who are, in reality, the links between the two countries.
